We are doing APPOINTMENT ONLY. We want to ensure we have enough time in between each appointment to sanitize the store and steam the dresses to make it safe for you and your guests! The door will remain locked as we will be closed for the duration of your appointment. So please call in advance or email to pre book your apt with us at 622-1099 / hello@theweddinglark.ca / www.theweddinglark.ca
Appointment times will be as follows:
Dress/ Purchase pick up: 15 minutes
Bridal Appointments: 2 hours
Bridesmaid Appointments: 1.5 hours
Prom/Special Occasion Appointments: 1 hour
Tux/Suit Appointments: 30 mins
Upon entering the store, wearing a mask for the duration of your stay, and sanitizing your hands is MANDATORY to ensure the safety of one another. ( please bring your own mask, hand sanitizer will be provided in store)
•please refrain from touching any accessories or items when your in the store, a consultant will assist you with this
•All shoes are to be removed upon entry. Ensure you have a pair of socks to wear - bare feet are not permited in the store.
•The customer is allowed to have a 3 guest MAXIMUM ONLY- no exceptions. This means that you plus three guests are allowed in the store at one time for the duration of your appointment. FaceTiming/Zoom is 100% encouraged! (free wifi!)
•If you wish to pick up your dresses/purchases, please call or email us to make an appointment. We will have it steamed and ready for you. Purchase must be paid in full, and can be done via our debit machine or EMTs. 622-1099 / hello@theweddinglark.ca
•If you arrive early, please remain in your vehicle until we are ready for you. The door will remain locked to ensure the safety of others and yourself. We will be keeping a close eye on your arrival •Please arrive ON TIME for your appointments please ! We are doing strictly appointments only at this point and time, and we want to ensure you have enough time for your appointment when you arrive.
•For Alterations, please call 624-8134 for your alteration specialist needs and appointment scheduling
•If you are not feeling well, please be mindful of others, and STAY AT HOME to keep yourself and everyone safe! If you have been in contact with someone who has travelled within the 14 days, we will book you in when the 14 days of self isolation is completeted on your part.

Shopping
- Do I need an appointment?
In order to provide you with one-on-one consultation, our bridal suite is appointment only. This allows you and your guests with exclusive access to our selection of wedding gowns, veils, and accessories.
- How long is my appointment?
Bridal gown appointments are 2 hours.
- What should I bring to my appointment?
We recommend bringing one or two people whose opinion matters most to you. Our bridal suite can seat up to 6 guests not including the bride, but keep in mind too many voices can be overwhelming!
- What should I bring to my appointment?
Bring a nude strapless bra and nude undies if possible!
- What should I not bring to my appointment?
We have a no food or drink policy in order to keep our gowns in pristine condition.
- May I take pictures of the gowns while I try them on?
Absolutely. We understand the importance of comparing photos to aid in your decision!
- Do I need an appointment to try on veils and accessories?
Our entire bridal suite is exclusive to brides and their guests by appointment, so we do recommend you make an appointment to try on veils and accessories. We also have a selection of earrings, bracelets, necklaces and headpieces available for you to view without needing an appointment.
Buying
- How far in advance should I buy my wedding gown?
We recommend allowing 10-12 months for shipping and alterations. Rush orders and off-the-rack options may be available if you’re in a pinch.
- What is a special order gown?
Most of the gowns we sell are special order. They’re made specifically for you based on the pattern size closest to your measurements. Once your gown arrives, our in-house seamstress will fit it perfectly to your body.
- When should I expect to receive my gown?
Wedding gowns can take up to 4-6 months after ordering. For prom, bridesmaids, and MOB/G; 3-4 months can be expected.
- What are the price ranges of your gowns?
Our wedding gowns range from $1000 to $4000, with most of our gowns priced between $1200-$2600. Off the Rack Bridal gowns range from $400-$1000.
- How do I pay for my gown?
Upon ordering we require a 50% deposit. Once your gown arrives you will be notified and your remaining balance will be due within 30 days; After the 30 days, interest will accrue. All off the Rack dresses and sale items in store are to be paid in full. We accept Visa, MasterCard, debit and cash.
Fitting
- Will I need alterations?
Alterations are required 99% of the time. Our in-house seamstress is available to tailor the gown to fit your body perfectly.Alteration costs are not included in the price of the dresses, they are an additional cost.
- When should I schedule my first fitting?
We recommend booking with our seamstress 8-12 weeks before your wedding. For prom, it is recommended you schedule your first fitting as soon as your dress arrives.
- What should I bring to my fitting?
Bring the shoes and undergarments you plan on wearing on your Wedding day/ Prom day.
- How many fittings will I need?
It’s common to require 2-3 fittings before your dress is ready to take home.
